I really like this one for its metaphorical use of different kinds of bubbles to express a deeper meaning. And then there's the imagery - it's random and scattered, yet organized, and all put together to form something strange and beautiful.

Second place was hard to judge - it was between this and ~plushie-mutant's entry [link] I'm not sure what made me choose this one - the atmosphere, the nostalgia from the child grabbing the bubbles (as I used to - and still - love doing), maybe it's...I honestly don't know. All I know is I really like this one, enough that I kept coming back to it.

Alright, I have decided what exactly my contest is gonna be about (about damn time, too. XD)
The theme is...
Bubbles
As in those little floaty orbs that like to come with soap and underwater jet-like things.
Draw/write anything at all (as long as it follows DA's policy as well as my contest's rules, of course), that has to do with bubbles in some way.
Rules
"Draw/write" means no photos (sorry photographers. 
) It must involve bubbles in some way (obviously) NO STEALING FROM OTHER CONTESTANTS. (again, a no-brainer) Screenshots, recolored images, and traced images will not be accepted. In fact, no stealing at all from anybody for this contest (as a note, theivery is not to be confused with inspiration. 
). Originality is valued. One entry per contestant. Prize givers may enter. Have fun. Prizes
